Streamstown Celtic announce withdrawal from North Tipp District League

With heavy hearts Streamstown would like to announce that we will not be having any Junior football this coming season.

The clubs top brass cannot commit to the many hours of personal time and work required.

We would like to thank every player that has graced Fanure in the last 5 seasons, you have been fantastic throughout.

To the management that has been there we offer our sincerest of thanks, it’s never an easy job & you have helped tremendously to bring this club to the top.

To the Board, without you the success would also have been impossible, the hours you have put in is something that can’t be replaced and is greatly appreciated.

To the sponsors, you have kept us going as we all know nothing is cheap these days, you have all been brilliant.

To Mount St Josephs for the pitch you have always looked after us so Thank you.

To our supporters and the people of Roscrea. Since 400ish turned up for the Fast Food Cup Final you have never let us down, it has been a huge pleasure to have you all shouting for us and you are what makes the club tick. We hope that wherever our players end up you are equal in your support.

We have all so many memories that we will cherish forever and who knows what the future will bring.

To one and all we salute you.
