Killavilla Utd and Shinrone Utd continued their rich vein of form in the weekend just gone as they both grabbed wins in the Tipperary Cup.
Villa entertained Moneygall in Villa Park on Saturday evening and won with ease after a strong first half performance. Veteran Striker Paul Kirwan bagged a hattrick to make it 25 goals in all comprtitions this season so far while Shane Moloney continued his fine form adding a fourth, his eleventh of the campaign. Villa now face the winners of Nenagh Celtic and Holycross B in the second round after thir 4-0 win.
Shinrone Utd had a hattrick hero of their own on Saturday night as they travelled to Rearcross for a tricky second round tie. John Pio Fitzpatrick bagged three for the away side as they ran out 3-0 winners and they now face Clodiagh Rangers B or Sallypark Odhráns on the next round.
