NT&DL Division 2 Preview

Gurtagarry Fc Vs Cloughjordan Fc
Leaders Gurtagarry welcome Cloughjordan B to Latteragh in what should be a walk in the park for the hosts. Gurta boast an incredible +50 in the goal difference charts after only twelve games this season and remaining unbeaten also. Clough have been midtable for most of the season but have performed well having won six of their twelve games and losing only four, one of which was a 4-1 home defeat to Gurtagarry, one of the odd times leading scorer Paul Ryan hasn’t found the target. Andrew Brennan will be the main threat for the away side.

BT Harps B Vs Clodiagh Rangers Fc B
Second placed BT Harps also have what is on paper an easy task as they face bottom of the table Clodiagh Rangers B, a side that have only one point in their opening nine games and remain winless. Harps striker Darren Russell will have fond memories when these sides last met as he scored five out of his sides six goals in the 6-3 win for Harps. Rangers will look to Paul Hanley as they look to register their first win of the season.

Stoppagetime.ie Prediction: BT Harps B

Ballymackey Fc Vs Templetuohy Fc
Ballymackey return to league action and have what looked to be the toughest game of all the top three this weekend. Eight points behinds but with two games in hand the Toomevara side will be very confident of winning the league. Templetuohy look destined for a top four finish, something of which didn’t seem likely earlier in the season. Striker Oisin Jordan has been in great form throughout but did not manage a goal in the reverse fixture when his side were beaten 5-0 to goals from timmy Fleming, Rory Mounsey, Gary McCarthy and Denis O’Connor. A home win expected here.

Stoppagetime.ie Prediction: Ballymackey Fc B

Rearcross FC B Vs Borrisokane Fc B
Winless Rearcross B face Borrisokane B in a bottom off the table clash! Both sides have been less than impressive since the start of the campaign but will hope to record a few wins before the Cups start in the coming weeks. A tight game is expected but we thing Rearcross might just manage their first win of the season. The sides played out a very exciting 3-3 draw in the reverse fixture.

Stoppagetime.ie Prediction: Rearcross FC B
