North Tipperary & District League Division 1 Preview

Nenagh Celtic B Vs Borroway Rovers
This is a must win game for Celtic if the are to keep the pressure on the teams above them gunning for promotion. They face a Rovers side that remains unbeaten this term having won seven and drawn five in the league so far. Rovers won the reverse fixture by three goals to one but Celtic did get one over on Rovers in the shield earlier in the season with a three two win. Rovers have Keith Moore, Benny Connolly and Gary Dunne scoring goals with the trio managing 27 between them.in the league so far. Celtic have been depending on Alan Kelly and Danny White, both of whom have managed four gals apiece so far. A tight game is expected here.

Stoppagetime.ie Prediction: Draw

Clodiagh Rangers Fc Vs Holycross Fc
This derby game sees sixth play fifth in this very tight Division. Holycross might feel as though they still have a chance of promotion especially with Jojo and Colin O’Meara’s return to form. Paul Ryan of Clodiagh Rangers has been a constant threat and their outside chance of promotion hinges on every game now.

Stoppagetime.ie Prediction: Draw

Arra Rovers Vs Portumna Town
Bottom play top here in what should be a routine win for the league leaders. Portumna won the reverse fixture by four goals to nil with the injured Sean O’Meara bagging a brace. Rovers only have four games to catch third from bottom Moneygall so a loss here could see them relegated if Moneygall can beat second from bottom Ardcroney Fc.

Stoppagetime.ie Prediction: Portumna Town

Ardcroney Fc Vs Moneygall Fc
This relegation battle will have a huge bearing on both clubs futures in the NT&DL. Ardcroney had a monumental win over Nenagh Celtic last weekend whilst Moneygall managed a huge draw against second placed Borroway Rovers. A tight game on offer but we feel the constant goals from Jamie Heffernan might prove to be the difference here.

Stoppagetime.ie Prediction: Ardcroney Fc
