Clonmel Celtic Ladies 5-3 Birdhill Ladies

Clonmel Celtic beat the in-form Birdhill in an eightgoal thriller on Tuesday night. Sarah Ryan (2), Ciara White, Priscilla Kiely and Betty Barlow were on target for for Celtic and their finishing proved too strong for the luckless Birdhill side despite goals from Sarah Moloney (2) and Emma Coleman.

Shinrone Utd Ladies 1-5 Killenaule/Moyglass

Shinrone’s inconsistent form continued as they lost to Champions Killenaule/Moyglass by five goals to one. Mary Reams got on the score-sheet for United but a hattrick from Shonagh Cleary put the away side clear and further goals from Cliona O’Dwyer and Eimer Boland made it a very productive start to the season.

Dualla Ladies 10-0 St Nicholas Ladies

Dualla Ladies ran out emphatic winners against St Nicholas in this game. A double hattrick from Casey Hennessey, a brace from Caitlin Beatty Green and further goals from Robyn Moore and Libby Toomymade it a sensational night for the title contenders.

Cahir Park Ladies 3-6 Nenagh Afc Ladies

Nenagh Afc got their league campaign off to a flyer against Cahir last night as the promotion contenders managed to score six goals thanks to Lorna Shoer (3), Sophie Kelly, Mel Molloy and Laura Costello. Alison Lonergan, Fiona Burke and Christina Delaney found the net themselves but it was never to be enough for Cahir.

Arra Rovers 1-5 Tipperary Town 5

Tipp Town continued their fine early season form beating second placed Arra Rovers by five goals to one. Maria Daly got the only goal for Rovers but a hattrick for Stephanie Walsh and brace for Jenny Maher were enough for Town as they remain top of the table.
