Glantine needed penalties to advance to the next round of the Division One League Cup as it finished 2-2 after extra-time between them and Feenagh. It was Glantine who would draw first blood towards the end of the second half but it was level again soon after when Diarmuid Coleman equalised with his head. It would stay that way for the remainder of regular time before Glantine would regain the lead in the first period of added time. Yet again, their lead was short lived as Feenagh would equalise soon after from the penalty spot to send it to a shootout where Glantine would come out on top on a 4-2 scoreline. Glantine can now look forward to a home quarter final against AK United.
