Peake Villa continuued their excellent season with a 3-2 victory over Clonmel Celtic, in the process setting up a final against St Micheal’s.
Villa took the lead in nineteen minutes when Matthew McKevitt pounced. Celtic equalized three minutes from half time but Villa still managed to make it to half time a goal to the good thanks to a Pippy Carroll penalty.
Carroll again found the net twenty minutes from time to double his sides lead but Celtic set up a nervy last fifteen minutes when Aaron Moroney pulled one back. Villa seen out the Celtic pressure however and now have to play Saints in their last two games of the campaign in both league and cup.
