Munster Champions Trophy Semi Final

Nenagh Celtic 1-2 Abbeyfeale United
Celtic bowed out the competition after this narrow loss. Paudie Smith put the away side two goals to the good by half time. Jamie Kelly did pull one back however and Celtic might have equalised if it wasn’t for some great goalkeeping from the visitors.

Borrisokane 2-5 Thurles Town
Thurles resumed their league campaign and ran out easy winners here. A hattrick for Captain Barry Ryan and one apiece for Paul Kirwan and Micheal Byrne were enough to see off Borrisokane and keep their 100% league record intact.

Roscrea Town 1-2 BT Harps
Roscrea’s title hope were all but dashed by a resurgent Harps side. Chris Eid and Johnny Coleman put Harps two goals to the good either side of half time while Shane Moloney pulled one back for Roscrea in injury time.

Ardcroney 4-3 Nenagh Celtic
Ardcroney kept their survival hopes alive winning by the odd goal in seven against the well fancied Nenagh Celtic side. A game that went two and frow was eventually decided by two spot kicks that Jamie Heffernan scored, Kieran Cahill and Johnny Horan were the other Ardcroney scorers while a brace from Alan Kelly and one from Davie Walsh was not enough for the away side.

Holycross Fc 4-1 Arra Rovers
Holycross’ climb up the table continued here with a routine win against Arra. A Colin  O’Meara brace and goals from Jojo O’Meara and  Davie Keogh were enough for the win

Portumna Town 5-2 Clodiagh Rangers
Town went top of Division 1 when they comfortably put Clodiagh out of the title race here. Darragh Barry, Gary Hogan, Rae McEntee, Ronan O’Meara and an own goal were enough to see off Rangers despite two goals from Paul Ryan.

Roscrea Town 3-1 Rearcross FC
Roscrea Town are one win away from safety after they beat promotion chasers Rearcross. Joe Callaghan put the hosts ahead from the penalty spot scoring his twentieth league goal of the season. Mikey O’Gorman equalised soon after but a stunning effort from Proinsias Matthews restored his sides lead and Paul Brussels killed the game off in the dying moments.

Moneygall Fc 1-1 Borroway Rovers
Rovers maintained their unbeaten start to the season but dropped vital points in their fifth draw of the season. Seamus Woodlock got the goal for Rovers.

These two played out a one all draw in a match with very little to play for. Andy Brennan continued his hot streak for goals for the home side.

BT Harps 2-0 Borrisokane Fc B
Harps maintained their promotion push against a luckless Borrisokane side. Luke Quinlan and James Kavanagh were on target for the second placed side.

Rearcross FC B 0-3 Gurtagarry FC
Gurtagarry’s title push continues to gather momentum with an easy winners against winless Rearcross. Ronan Kinane, Darren Delaney and the now 27 goal striker Paul Ryan were all on target.
