NT&DL Weekend Review:

Premier Division
Thurles Town 2-1 BT Harps 
Thurles moved within five points of leaders BT Harps after coming from a goal down to continue their 100% league record. Johnny Coleman had put the visitors ahead from the spot in the first half but a sublime Paul Kirwan goal and a neat finish from Paraic Fogarty was enough to win the game for Town.
NT&DL Division One:
Rearcross FC 1-0 Borroway Rovers 
Borroway’s slim title hopes all but ended in Rearcross thanks to a solitary goal from Mikey O’Gorman. Rovers are now 5 points behind Portumna who also have a game in hand.
Holycross Fc 8-1 Ardcroney Fc 
Ardcroney succumbed to relegation today and left without a whimper after a devastating loss to Promotion hopefuls Holycross Fc. Goals from Jojo O’Meara (3), Davie Keogh (2), Jp Butler, Calum O’Connor and Davie English gave Holycross a comfortable win, Darragh Buckley scored a scant consolation for Ardcroney.
NT&DL Division Two:
Borrisokane Fc B 1-2 Clodiagh Rangers Fc B 
Clodiagh managed their second league win of the campaign in dramatic fashion as manager Eamon Cullagh scored the winner with the last kick of the game. Borrisokane took and early first half lead but Rangers battled back thanks to a Brian Hanrahan goal before Cullaghs heroics.
NT&DL Tipperary Cup 1st Round:
Templetuohy Fc 2-3 Cloughjordan Fc B 
Templetuohy’s Tipp Cup run came to a halt as they lost by the odd goal in 5 against Cloughjordan Fc B. An Andrew Brennan brace and a worldy from Gary Culbert were enough to win despite a brace from the penalty spot from Templetuohy top scorer Oisin Jordan.
Tipperary Cup 2nd Round:
Roscrea Town B 2-1 Ballymackey Fc A
Division one side Roscrea took a Premier Division scalp in the form of Ballymackey Fc thanks to a goal in either half by Shane Davis and Eddie Simmons. Davis in particular will be proud of his goal as he lobbed the keeper from near the halfway way line, a fantastic win for the Roscrea side.
Roscrea Town A 2-1 Portumna Town 
Roscrea made it a double into Round three after a hard fought win over Division one leaders Portumna Town. Tom Ahern put the home side in front early on but Roscrea were pegged back by a Rory Finnegan goal. The game saved the best until last when Brian Franks got the ball 25 yards from goal and his shot left John O’Meara with no chance in the Portumna goal.
Borrisokane Fc 0-7 Clodiagh Rangers 
Division one side Clodiagh produced their best performance of the season beating Premier Division side Borrisokane by seven goals to nil. Goals from Paul Ryan (3), Ailbe O’Donoghue (2), David Butler and Philip Shanahan gave the Drombane side the unlikeliest of wins.
Nenagh Celtic 4-0 Moneygall Fc 
Nenagh Celtic produces a routine performance here as they beat Division one outfit Moneygall Fc. Goals from Sean Healy, Mark Walsh, Johnny Carmody and Stephen Flynn were enough to send them through to round three.
Nora Kennedy Cup 2nd Round:
Gurtagarry Fc 5-1 Rearcross FC B
Gurtagarry continued their quest for the double with a comfortable win against fellow second division side Rearcross FC B. Goals from Jake Ryan (2), Paul Ryan, Gary Delaney and Paddy O’Rourke were enough to put Gurta into the semi finals.
Ballywilliam Utd 0-1 Ballymackey Fc B 
Ballymackey qualified for the cup Semi final after a hard fought victory over a plucky Ballywilliam Utd side. The only goal of the game came from veteran Timmy Fleming as the Balinree side continue their fine season.
